Luke Falk and Gabe Marks make Maxwell Award watchlist

From Tony Dorsett to Marcus Allen, Barry Sanders and Andrew Luck, a lot of greats have won the Maxwell award. This year, two Cougs are looking to add their name to the list.

The Maxwell Football Club announced yesterday that junior quarterback Luke Falk and senior receiver Gabe Marks have been added to the first preseason Maxwell Award watchlist. The Maxwell Award, named after Robert W. "Tiny" Maxwell as been given to the nation's best college football player ever since Yale's Clint Frank won the award in 1937.

This news shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone.
