PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State women's basketball sophomore Charlisse Leger-Walker was selected to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 first team Thursday, Feb. 17. She becomes the first WSU women's basketball player to earn the distinction in 15 years.
Leger-Walker was named a member of the District 8 first team, which includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Canada. Joining Leger-Walker on the District 8 first team is Lacie Hull and Lexie Hull from Stanford, Nyara Sabally from Oregon, Sam Thomas from Arizona and Caitlyn Harper from Cal Baptist.
The guard from New Zealand, who is majoring in management, has posted a cumulative GPA of 3.
