SAN FRANCISCO – Another week, another weekly freshman honor for Washington State women's basketball player Charlisse Leger-Walker, as the guard from New Zealand was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for the seventh this season on Monday, Feb. 15.
Leger-Walker averaged 24.0 points per game in a pair of road contests against Arizona and Arizona State this past weekend. The Waikato, New Zealand native got her weekend started with a 19-point performance at No. 10/8 Arizona this past Friday. Leger-Walker was even better Sunday at Arizona State, as the guard matched her career-high in scoring with 29 points.
