Leger-Walker Named to Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Washington State women's basketball's standout sophomore Charlisse Leger-Walker finds her name among the best shooting guards in the nation, as the reigning Pac-12 Freshman of the Year is one of 20 players selected to the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list as announced by the Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Tuesday, Oct. 26.

This marks the first time that Leger-Walker has been included on the prestigious Ann Meyers Drysdale Award watch list, which is presented annually to the best shooting guard in NCAA Division I. She is one of five Pac-12 players to be named to the Drysdale watch list, as Taylor Chavez (Arizona), Sydney Parrish (Oregon), Lexie Hull (Stanford) and Charisma Osborne (UCLA) were also selected to the list.
