PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State women's basketball player Charlisse Leger-Walker made history on Friday, April 2, as the freshman became the first player in program history to earn U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) All-American honors, as Leger-Walker was selected to the honorable mention squad.
Leger-Walker is one of five players from the Pac-12 Conference to be named a USBWA All-American, as Arizona's Aari McDonald and Stanford's Kiana Williams were named to the second team, while UCLA's Michaela Owyenwere was named to the third team. Stanford's Haley Jones joined Leger-Walker on the USBWA All-American honorable mention list.
