BELLEVUE, Wash. (May 6, 2025) – Washington State dropped a 6-4 nonconference contest to Seattle U at Bannerwood Ballpark Tuesday afternoon.
The Cougars brought the tying run to the plate in the eighth and ninth innings but a couple nice defensive plays by the Redhawks ended the threats. Washington State built a 3-0 lead after three innings before Seattle U took the lead with a grand slam in the fourth inning.
WSU received three hits from Will Cresswell and two hits including a two-run home run from Jonah Shull while Jack Weise delivered two hits off the bench.
