EUGENE, Ore. – The Washington State men's track and field program competed in four events at the 2025 NCAA Division-I Outdoor Track & Field Championship to conclude the season, Wednesday night, at Hayward Field on the University of Oregon campus. WSU sophomore Evans Kurui finished fifth in the 10,000-meter final to clinch All-American honors, becoming the seventh Cougar in the last four seasons to garner outdoor All-American recognition.
Kurui, competing in his first outdoor championship, sat at the back of the pack early in the race, moving up throughout the race to take the lead at the final-lap bell.
