Isaiah Johnson-Mack announces he will transfer

Starting next season, the Washington State Cougars will be without one of their more reliable targets at wide receiver. Sophomore Isaiah Johnson-Mack announced on Twitter today he will transfer from the school.

The sophomore from Belle Glade, Florida was at the top of the depth chart at the Z receiver position for much of the season, finishing the year with 555 yards of receiving and five touchdowns; both numbers second only to Tavares Martin, Jr.

Though Johnson-Mack doesn’t say whether he’ll play in WSU upcoming bowl game (a likely trip to the Foster Farms Bowl), with the end of the semester coming in just a couple of weeks, I’d expect him to wrap up classes and then take off.
