PHILADELPHIA (Oct. 12, 2022) - Washington State linebacker Daiyan Henley was one of 10 players added to the 2022 Chuck Bednarik Award Watch List, the Maxwell Football Club announced Wednesday.
The Bednarik Award is presented annually to the outstanding defensive player in college football. Henley joins teammate EDGE Ron Stone Jr. who was named to the initial watch list prior to the season.
Henley enters the week second in the Pac-12 Conference with 55 tackles and 10 tackles-for-loss, good for fourth-most in the country. The Los Angeles native is also tied for fourth in the Pac-12 with four sacks and owns a pair of double-digit tackle games this season including a game-high 11 at No.
