Washington State Men’s basketball assistant coach Curtis Allen announced on Monday via twitter that he would be leaving the program to join both Ken Bone and Lorenzo Romar at Pepperdine University. Allen spent nine years in Pullman and helped land the Cougars a lot of talent from the west side of the state.
Allen played for Romar at the University of Washington for his last two years in college and then went on to join Ken Bone at Portland State from 2005-09. When the Cougars hired Bone to be Tony Bennett’s replacement in 2009 he brought over the Tacoma native with him to help bring in the talent from the west side.
