The state of Washington is home to three division 1 teams in the sport - including Gonzaga, Washington and Washington State - and all three of those teams are among the 22 team field heading to Sarasota, Florida this weekend for the NCAA women’s rowing championships.
For the Cougs, the national stage isn’t anything new. This weekends trip marks the 13th overall appearance at the Championships for the Cougs. In fact, they’ve been on a roll recently, heading to the event six-straight years and eight of the past nine.
