HCA: Cougar basketball gets in-state talent, C.J. Elleby signs NLI

The Washington State men’s basketball team earned their first win of the season on Sunday and on Monday Charles “C.J.” Elleby signed his National Letter of Intent to stay in state and play for the Cougars next season. The Seattle native will join the Cougars in the fall of 2018.

Out of Cleveland High School, Elleby has been on the rise heading into his senior season. As a sophomore he averaged 16 points and 10 rebounds. The following year he averaged 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists a game en route to earning his third consecutive All-Metro League honors.
