HCA: Charlisse Leger-Walker named Pac-12 Freshman of the Year

The Pac-12 conference announced Monday that Washington State freshman Charlisse Leger-Walker was named the conference Freshman of the Year. She is just the second Cougar to be named winner of the award following Alke Dietel who won the award following the 1997-98 season.

The freshman guard from Waikato, New Zealand was named Pac-12 Freshman of the Week seven times this season, tying Kelsey Plum for second most in conference history.
