Hare and Roman Capture Silver on Final Day of World Championships

Ieva Adomaviciute placed fourth as part of Lithuania's women's double sculls crew.

SARASOTA-BRADENTON, Fla. – Former Washington State rowers Nicole Hare and Lisa Roman placed second for the silver medal as part of their native-Canada's women's eight crew, Sunday, at the 2017 World Rowing Championships.

Both members of the 2016 Canadian Olympic team, Hare (Calgary, Alberta) and Roman (Langley, B.C.) were joined in the eight by fellow Olympians, Susanne Grainger, Hillary Janssens, Jennifer Martins and Christine Roper, as well as Paralympic bronze-medalist, Kristen Kit as coxswain. Kristin Bauder and Rebecca Zimmerman are also members of the eight crew.
