MILLBRAE, Calif. (March 11, 2024) – Washington State women's golf finished day one of the Silicon Valley Showcase in sixth place at 42-over, 610 through 32 holes at the par-71 Green Hills Country Club.
Individually, freshman Alice Johansson leads the Cougs, currently in a tie for 12th at 6-over, 148 after the first two rounds of the tournament. After a trio of double bogeys in the first round put her at 7-over to start the day, she roared back in the second round, scattering five birdies, including four over her final six holes for a 1-under, 70 finish in round two.
