WOLCOTT, Colo. – Washington State women's golfer Darcy Habgood set her personal-best single-round score to kick off the 2022 GOLFWEEK Red Sky Classic, as the fifth-year senior carded 4-under; 68 to end Monday's first round in a tie for second place on the player leaderboard.
Habgood collected a total of four birdies through her first 18 holes of play on the Fazio Course at the Red Sky Golf Club. The Nambucca Heads, Australia native caught fire on the back nine, as she carded 3-under over her final nine holes. Habgood capped off her career-best round by carding back-to-back birdies on the 17th and 18th.
