SAN FRANCISCO – For the second time on the year Washington State Men's Basketball freshman Mouhamed Gueye took home Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors for the week ending Jan. 16 as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. Gueye previously earned his first award for the week of Nov. 21. He becomes the first Coug to win multiple Freshman of the Week awards since the creation of the honor in 2019-20.
Coming into his own as the season progresses into the grind of conference play, Gueye showed off the skills that made him one of the top recruits in the country prior to joining the Cougs a year early out of high school.
