PULLMAN, Wash. (October 1, 2021) – Washington State women's swimming saw its Gray Team beat the Crimson Team 147-93 in its Crimson and Gray instrasquad meet at Gibb Pool Friday afternoon.
The Gray Team claimed nine of the 13 events led by senior Taylor McCoy who won three events (50 Back, 150 Back, 100 IM) while freshman Angela Di Palo from Italy added a pair of wins (200 Free, 100 Free). Di Palo was also part of both winning relay teams for the Gray Team (200 Medley, 200 Free). McCoy recorded a team-high 27 points, Di Palo added 18, junior Lauren Burckel tallied 16 points and freshman Ilaria Moro from Italy added 13 points.
