PULLMAN, Wash. – Kate Hayhurst joined Washington State Volleyball after spending her spring with Kansas. Prior to WSU, Hayhurst played for Idaho Crush, a club team based in Twin Falls, Idaho. Hayhurst was able to help them win four qualifier tournaments.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down with freshman Kate Hayhurst.
Why did you choose WSU?
I chose WSU for volleyball, of course. But I really love the staff, and they're really caring about us as players. Not only on the court, but off the court as well, and they're always looking to build those relationships with every single person.
