HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. – For the second straight day, junior Madelyn Gamble shot a 2-under 70 as Washington State improved by two strokes over its opening round at the 2023 Ron Moore Intercollegiate Saturday, played on the par-72, 6,648-yard University of Denver Golf Course.
As a team, the Cougars posted a 4-over, 292, for a two-round total of 12-over, 588, and remain 12th after the second round.
Gamble's second round was nearly a carbon copy on Friday's first 18 holes. After a bogey-free round with two birdies yesterday, she recorded three birdies Saturday and added the lone bogey in her first 36 holes.
