Gabe Marks, Shalom Luani lead group of 10 WSU Cougars to earn All-Pac-12 football honors

Senior receiver Gabe Marks and senior safety Shalom Luani were Washington State’s two lone representatives on the All-Pac-12 first team that was announced Tuesday morning.

WSU quarterback Luke Falk and defensive lineman Hercules Mata’afa earned All-Pac-12 second team honors, while running back Jamal Morrow, receiver River Cracraft, offensive linemen Cody O’Connell, Cole Madison and Riley Sorenson and linebacker Peyton Pelluer earned all-conference honorable mention honors.

Marks was selected to the All-Pac-12 first team for the second straight year, becoming the first WSU player to do so since offensive lineman Derrick Roche in 2001-02. Marks is currently second in the Pac-12 with 13 receiving touchdowns and 85 receptions, is tied for second place with four 100-yard games and is third with 867 receiving yards.
