Four Cougars selected in MLB draft

It was day of change for the Washington State University baseball team. As new coach Brian Green was being introduced, pitcher AJ Block, shortstop Andres Alvarez, center fielder Danny Sinatro, and first baseman Dillon Plew were being selected on the 3rd day of the MLB draft. Incoming recruits first baseman Will Simpson and outfielder Brady Hill were selected as well. Let’s take a look at where each of them was picked.

LHP AJ Block 17th Rd Detroit Tigers:

Block is 6-foot-5 218 pound left-handed pitcher who hails from Newport high school in Bellevue.
