Former Cougars Compete at USTAF Outdoor Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – CJ Allen's PR (48.17) and fourth-place finish in the 400m hurdles highlighted a week that saw nine total current and former Washington State track and field student-athletes compete at the USTAF National Championships at Hayward Field.

Allen's 48.17 came in Sunday's 400m hurdles final was the seventh-best in the world this season and a new PR after finishing second in heat two of Friday's first round at 50.03. With his fourth-place finish, Allen is the first alternate to represent Team USA at next month's World Championships back at Hayward Field (fourth-place finishers earn a selection if Team USA receives at least one automatic bid).
