To Reese Tappan, a sophomore defender on the Washington State University soccer team, family is everything.
Tappan FaceTimes her parents every day and they are her biggest motivation.
"They came to all my home games and my dad came to all my away games. It was nice to be able to see and talk to them and it kept me motivated," Tappan said.
This dedication means everything to Tappan.
"My dad has helped and pushed and influenced me to be who I am. I would not be here without his help," Tappan said.
