SAN FRANCISCO – The Pac-12 Conference announced Wednesday, March 2, that the media named Washington State Women's Basketball Head Coach Kamie Ethridge the 2021-22 Pac-12 Coach of the Year.
Ethridge guided WSU to new heights in her fourth season on the Palouse, as the Cougars are 19-9 and 11-6 in Pac-12 play this season. The 19 overall wins are the most by Washington State in a season in the NCAA era, while the 11 Pac-12 victories established a new program record for most conference wins in a season. WSU posted its highest finish ever on the Pac-12 standings this season, as the Cougars finished tied for second place with Oregon.
