Ernie Kent is getting ready to start his third year as WSU's head basketball coach. In his first two year, he faced the Idaho Vandals twice... And lost to the Idaho Vandals twice.
Now, it seems Coach Kent has taken the old saying to heart: "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em."
At a Coaches vs. Cancer charity auction last weekend, Idaho head basketball coach Don Verlin auctioned off a chance to help coach the Vandals for a day. The winner got the chance to sit on Idaho's bench at Idaho's game against Washington State and even draw up a play.
