Both Jeremiah Mitchell and Tyler Hilinski transferred to Washington State University from California schools in January, but the similarities end there.
After Hilinski, a freshman quarterback from Claremont, Calif., committed to the Cougars during his visit, he graduated high school a semester early to participate in spring drills.
“Being a senior in your second semester in high school, you don’t get a lot done. I’m a pretty motivated person so I wanted to come up here and get my education started,” Hilinski said. “It was a no-brainer.
