While Klay Thompson and Aron Baynes are firmly entrenched on NBA rosters, a few other Cougars continue to try to get there. Brock Motom and DaVonte Lacy spent time in the NBA summer league. D.J. Shelton did not play in Orlando or Las Vegas this year and will instead head back to Europe for his second pro season.
After playing in Belgium last season, Shelton will be in Italy this year after agreeing to a deal with Victoria Libertas Pesaro. VL Pesaro plays in Serie A in Italy and should be a good opportunity for Shelton to play in the top Italian league.
