SAN FRANCISCO -- Washington State track and field distance runners found success Friday at a pair of meets in the Bay area.
At the San Francisco State Distance Carnival, WSU assistant coach won the women's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10 minutes 17.27 seconds. Redshirt senior (Sammamish, Wash.) chopped off nearly 42 seconds off her lifetime-best time with her section win and overall fourth place time of 10:31.50; a time that is seventh-best in WSU's all-time records.
