PULLMAN, Wash. - After a postponed live event due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Washington State University Athletics is set to honor its 2019-20 senior student-athletes at the 38th Annual Senior Recognition Thursday evening on Facebook Live. The event, originally scheduled to take place in conjunction with an August commencement ceremony, will go virtual for the first time beginning at 4:30 p.m. PT on the Cougs' Facebook channel, WSUCougars.
The event will highlight the academic and athletic contributions of the 2019-20 senior class of Cougar student-athletes. Awards include: Pac-12 Conference Tom Hansen Conference Medal recipients, Senior Excellence in Academics Award, Pac-12 Conference Postgraduate Scholarship recipients, Cougar Pride Trophy, Athletic Director's Star Performer Award, Steve Gleason Community Service Award, SAAC True Cougar Award, Damien Ficek Athletic Training Award, Oviatt-Lang Strength and Conditioning Award, Beulah M.
