Cougs Sit in Fourth Place After 18 Holes of Play in Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. – The Washington State women's golf team sits in fourth place after 18 holes of action at the 2021 Badger Invitational at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison, Wisconsin.

The Cougs carded 294 (+6) as a team in the tournament's opening round, as they head into tomorrow's second round in fourth overall, just three strokes shy of second place. Junior Jiye Ham led the way for WSU, as she shot an even par 72 in the first round to end her day in a tie for seventh. Ham was one of three Cougar golfers to collect three birdies in the first round.
