Cougs Record Double-Digit Wins In Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash.— The Washington State men's and women's track and field team continued their excellent start to the outdoor season by winning 10 total events at the Buc Scoring Invitational. In total, 23 Cougar athletes placed inside the top-three across the two-day meet at Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.

Along with all the wins, two Cougs had record-breaking performances. Junior ran the sixth-fastest women's 100m dash in WSU history with a personal record of 11.76 seconds and won the event. Freshman set a Boppell Track record at the Whitworth Pine Bowl in the men's discus with a toss of 54.
