That doesn’t sound so bad, right?
Well... Not so much....
The last time the Cougars picked up a conference tournament win was 2009. It was so long ago that Tony Bennett was at the helm of the Cougs, Ernie Kent was the head coach of Oregon (the opposing team), the tournament was played in Los Angeles and... Oh yeah... The conference was still the Pac-10.
Needless to say, it’s been quite awhile since Washington State won in the conference tournament.
