LIHU'E, Kua'i (October 22, 2025) – Washington State Women's Golf used an impressive final round to climb three spots and finish sixth at the 29th Rainbow Wahine Invitational played at the Ocean Course at Hokuala Wednesday.
The Cougars tied for the third-best team score (-3) during Wednesday's final round to finish the tournament sixth at ten-over, ahead of San Diego State, Kansas, Grand Canyon, Long Beach State, Boise State, Hawaii and Nevada. WSU finished just two strokes behind fifth-place BYU while No. 25 Baylor won the event at 13-under.
Freshman Kaitlyn Helm led the way for Washington State, carding four birdies in her final-round 70 to move up two spots and tie for eighth at three-under.
