Cougs Drop a 58-50 Decision at No. 13 Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – Freshman Charlisse Leger-Walker scored a game-high 24 points against No. 13/13-ranked Oregon on Friday, Jan. 22. But her effort wouldn't be enough for the Washington State women's basketball team to overcome a cold night offensively, as the Cougars fell to the Ducks, 58-50, at Matthew Knight Arena.

The 24-point performance for Leger-Walker extends her double-digit scoring streak to 11 games, which moves her past Borislava Hristova for the longest double-digit scoring streak to begin a WSU career in program history. The Waikato, New Zealand native also connected on five 3-point field goals against the Ducks, which ties a personal-best for most made 3-point field goals in a game.
