GUNBARREL, Colo. – The Washington State men's golf team is looking to build off a strong start to their fall season as they head to Colorado for the 2022 Mark Simpson-Colorado Invitational, Oct. 3-4, at the Boulder Country Club. This is the first time the Cougars will compete in this tournament since the 2016-2017 season.
The Course and Format
The 2022 Mark Simpson Invitational will feature a two-day team tournament that will be played at the Boulder Country Club; a 7,021-yard, par-70 course. The individual champion at the Mark Simpson-Colorado Invitational will not only receive the usual trophy and recognition for winning a major college tournament but will also earn an exemption into next summer's The Ascendant presented by Blue at TPC Colorado, one of the newer stops on the Korn Ferry Tour.
