SACRAMENTO, Calif.- The Washington State men's and women's cross country teams each had a runner post an all-region performance at the NCAA West Regional in Sacramento on Friday, Nov. 12, as junior Amir Ado finished 12th on the men's 10,000m race, while sophomore Neema Kimtai placed 18th in the women's 6,000m race.

Leading the Cougar men on the day was junior Amir Ado, who recorded an all-region performance on the 10,000m course. Ado finished 13th overall with a time of 30:02.9. By finishing 13th overall, Ado posts the best finish for a WSU runner at the NCAA West Regional since John Whelan placed second in 2015 at the NCAA West Regionals.
