OJAI, Calif. – Lize Leenknecht and Donika Bashota both picked up victories as Washington State concluded its season at the Pac-12 Championships at Ojai Valley Tennis Center Friday.
In the Doubles Championship Flight, Leenknecht and Bashota opened the day for the Cougars squaring off against the No. 25-nationally ranked duo of Desirae Krawczyk and Stephanie Vlad of Arizona State, but were bested late, 8-6.
In the Doubles Invitational Flight, Elizaveta Luzina and Holly Monahan were faced with the No. 2-seed and ran into trouble falling 8-5 to Utah’s Jena Cheng and Sarah Richter.
After doubles, WSU saw consolation singles matches.
