LAS VEGAS—Washington State Tennis swept all five singles and both doubles matches to open play at the 2017 UNLV Fall Invitational Friday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
In singles play, Barbora Michalkova, a senior from As, Czech Republic, defeated Northren Arizona Lena Pacholski, 6-4, 7-6, in the first round of No. 1 Singles draw.
In No. 2 Singles draw, Ameta Miksovska a junior from Stramberk, Czech Republic, rallied from a set down to earn a 6-7, 6-2, 6-2 victory against Long Beach State's Lalita Devarakonda. Also in the second flight, Cougar junior Tiffany Mylonas, from Brussels, Belgium, needed three sets to defeat NAU's Brandy Walker, 7-6, 6-3.
