ST. THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands (November 29, 2025) – Washington State women's basketball showed resilience and long stretches of composed, confident play Saturday night, refusing to back down from undefeated No. 5 LSU in a 112-35 contest at the Elridge Wilburn Blake Sports and Fitness Center.
Despite the final margin, the Cougars (1-7) delivered several encouraging individual performances and held their own for extended stretches against one of the nation's most explosive offenses.
WSU knocked down six 3-pointers, forced 15 LSU turnovers, and saw multiple young players step into expanded roles with poise.
Charlotte Abraham led the Cougars with 10 points, knocking down a pair of threes and attacking the lane fearlessly.
