SANTA CLARA, Calif. – (November 26, 2025) – Washington State women's volleyball put together several stretches of sharp, resilient volleyball Wednesday night, but Santa Clara's hot offense proved the difference as the Cougars fell 3-0 (14-25, 22-25, 17-25) at the Leavey Center.
After a slow-opening frame, WSU (16-11, 10-7 WCC) responded, hitting .341 in the second as the Cougars pushed the Broncos deep into the frame. Washington State scored five-straight early behind kills from Taryn Vrieling, Lucie Blau017eková, and Camryn Lingenbrink, then later tied the set at 17-17 thanks to a momentum-swinging ace from Kylie Wong.
