PULLMAN, Wash. – The No. 23 Washington State women's soccer team (4-0-0) defeated Weber State (0-4-0), 3-1, Sunday afternoon at Lower Soccer Field. Three different Cougars scored to continue a perfect start to the season with goals from senior , junior , and freshman .
Detrizio scored the opening goal for WSU in the 22nd minute when Reed rushed forward with the ball, taking space down the right side. Reed squared the ball across the penalty area to a streaking Detrizio for the easy goal and Reed's first assist of her career.
With the goal, Detrizio earned her second goal of the season, and 20th career goal, to move into the school's top-10 career scoring list.
