Cougars Record Personal Bests But Fall to Arizona State

Tempe, Ariz. (January 14, 2022) – Washington State Women's Swimming battled Arizona State at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center Saturday morning and finished runner-up in four races but dropped a 206-56 contest.

Cougar sophomore Angela Di Palo recorded her fourth second-place finish of the weekend. Di Palo recorded a second-place finish in the 50 free, continued her momentum in the 100 free, and touched the wall second at 57.52.

"During the meet we had people step up to earn lifetime best times! I think that looking at progress over finishes is extremely important," said Head Coach Matt Leach.
