COLOMBIA, Missouri – Saturday afternoon, the NCAA announced the WSU men's and women's cross-country teams qualified through at-large bids for the 2025 NCAA National Championships. This season marks the first time the Cougar men will compete as a team at the national championships since 2016. The women qualify as a team for only the third time in program history and the first time since 1985.
Rosemary Longisa, the winner of the West Regional, will look to lead the Cougar women at the national championship stage. Zenah Cheptoo, Nicole Bissell, and Caroline Jepkorir will have momentum heading into the national championship after impressive performances at the West Regional.
