Cougars Open Spring Season at Hawaii Invitational
HONOLULU – Fifth-year senior Michaela Bayerlova and sophomore Fifa Kumhom each captured two wins to lead the Washington State University Women's Tennis team during the first day of play at the 2022 Weinman Foundation Invitational at the UH Tennis Complex Thursday.
In singles and doubles matches against No. 9 California and host Hawaii, the Cougars came away with two singles and two doubles victories.
Bayerlova began her day by teaming with Savanna Ly-Nguyen to post an 8-4 win over Hawaii's Satsuki Takamura and Nidhi Surapaneni.
