Cougars Notch Multiple Top-20 Finishes at Chick-Fil-A Invite

FRESNO, CALIF. - The Washington State swimming team sits in fourth place with 233 points after day one of the Chick-Fil-A Invite hosted by Fresno State. The Cougars saw 16 top-20 finishes, including four top-5 finishes.

Senior Jasmine Margetts notched a second place finish in the 400 IM. The Torrance, Calif. native touched the wall in 4:21.59, just hundredths of a second ahead of the third place finisher from San Diego State. Margetts also saw a fourth place finish in the 800 free relay and 500 free. Alongside teammates Keiana Fountaine, Emily Barrier, and Ryan Falk, the team touched the wall in 7:34.
