PULLMAN, Wash. (Sept. 9, 2025) - The Washington State Cougars caught fire in Round 2 en route to a 16-under, 268, to finish the first two rounds in first place at the 2025 Palouse Collegiate Tuesday, played at the par-71, 7,302-yard Palouse Ridge Golf Club. The Cougars finished the day at 27-under, 541, five strokes ahead of Santa Clara and six shots clear of third-place Pacific.
After carding an 11-under, 273, to open the day, WSU saw all five players shoot under par in the second round to post 268 and tie for the fourth-lowest single-round score in program history.
