Box Score PULLMAN, Wash. (May 20, 2023) – Washington State dropped a 15-5 contest to third-ranked Stanford at Bailey-Brayton Field Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars collected 10 hits including three from Elijah Hainline who hit his team-leading 12th home run of the season while Sam Brown delivered a two-run single to push his season RBI total to 58 and Nate Swarts homered.
Stanford scored three runs in the first and WSU evened things with a run in the first and two in the second but the Cardinal scored in each of the next six innings to earn the win.
