SEATTLE (March 30, 2024) – Washington State dropped an 11-5 decision to Washington in The Boeing Apple Cup Series finale at Husky Ballpark Saturday afternoon. The Cougars won Thursday's opener 4-0 but the Huskies won the final two games to claim the series.
WSU (16-11, 6-6 Pac-12) saw leadoff hitter double twice, second baseman added two hits and centerfielder homered.
UW improved to 8-12-1 overall and 3-6 in conference play after scoring twice in the second, four in the fourth and pulled away with four runs in the eighth inning.
