Cougars continue split weekend, post five top-10 all-time finishes

AUSTIN, Texas/ SAN MARCOS, Texas/ STANFORD, Calif. - Outdoor action ramped up for Washington State men's and women's track and field with five WSU top-10 times highlighted by Alaina Stone Boggs winning the Stanford Invitational women's 5,000m in 16:14.77, the fastest in the Pac-12 this season. The Cougars continued competition Friday across three meets; The Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field, The Bobcat Invitational hosted by Texas State, and the Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium, the site of this year's NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

Alaina Stone Boggs posted the best finish of the day for the Cougars in the Bay Area as she won the women's 5000m run, improving on her PR with the fourth-fastest time in WSU history (16:14.
